Jerry Bussell

Colonel Jerry Bussell was born in Parsons, Tennessee July 31, 1943. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree and Regular Army Commission on 1967 from the University of Tennessee at Martin. In June 1987, he graduated from the United States Army War College, resident course, at Carlisle Barracks, Pennsylvania and additionally received a Master of Science Degree in Public Administration from Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania.
His early military education includes Armor Office Basic, Airborne, Ranger, Jumpmaster and Flight School. His first permanent assignment in 1968 was at Fort Bragg, North Carolina with the 1st Squadron 17th Calvary Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division. He later served as Aide-de-Camp to the Assistant Division Commander, Brigadier General John J. Hennessey.
He was promoted to Captain in 1969 and served in Vietnam, where he was a commander in the 183rd Aviation Company (Reconnaissance), 1st Aviation Brigade, whose primary mission was to provide direct support to “C” Company 75th Ranger Battalion.
In 1972 he resigned his Regular Army Commission and joined the Nevada Army National Guard. In 1978 Colonel Bussell was promoted to Major. On April 1, 1985, he was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel. For an unprecedented two consecutive years, his unit received the “Goodrich Riding Trophy,” the most coveted award in Armor. Additionally, Colonel Bussell personally received the highest individual award for Armor and Calvary Leadership, the “Draper Award.” He was promoted to full colonel in the Nevada Army National Guard. He retired from the Nevada Army National Guard in February 1993.

Joe W. Brown

Joe Brown is an attorney and the President of Jones Vargas, with more than 30 years as a member of the firm. His practice areas include government affairs, administrative law and gaming. He is a former appointee of President Ronald Reagan to the State Justice Institute and the Foreign Claims Settlement Commission of the United States (1981 – 1988, and is presently a member of the Nevada Gaming Commission. Mr. Brown has served as an officer or director of many businesses, civic and charitable organizations, including the Nature Conservancy, the Department of Wildlife, the Nevada State Athletic Commission, the Nevada Development Authority and Wells Fargo Bank. He is AV-rated by Martindale Hubbell Law Directory and is listed as one of The Best Lawyers in America in the field of government relations law. He also was recognized in the 2008 issue of Super Lawyers magazine as one of the top business and corporate lawyers in the five-state mountain region. Mr. Brown holds a Bachelor of Law degree from Washington & Lee University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia. He is admitted to practice before the sate and federal courts of Nevada and the District of Columbia. He is a member of the Clark County and American Bar Associations. Mr. Brown served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve from 1963 – 1969.

Perry M.
Di Loreto

Perry Di Loreto is a third generation builder and real estate developer.
The
second of six children, Perry Di Loreto was raised in Warren, Ohio.
After
attending Ohio State University with studies in engineering, Perry
followed
in his father's and grandfather's footsteps beginning his career as a
builder and contractor at the age of 25. In 1977, Perry and his
brother,
Tom, launched their own business, Di Loreto Construction and
Development.
Soon thereafter, the two relocated to Reno, Nevada, where they remain
business partners to this day.
Throughout the 80s and 90s, the Di Loretos became nationally recognized
as
home builders that enhanced the Reno, Las Vegas and Northern California
landscape by building thousands of high- quality single family homes,
condominiums, apartments, commercial and retail space and professional
office parks.
For more than three decades, Perry Di Loreto has been known as an award
winning developer and is a past recipient of "Builder of the Year" from
the
Northern Nevada Home Builders Assoc. Di Loreto Construction and
Development
was also awarded the QVA Award (Quality, Value and Affordability) by
Region
9 of the Federal Housing Administration. His companies are licensed as
General Building and Engineering Contractors with Unlimited Licenses in
both
Nevada and California and also as real estate brokers in both states.
Perry has served on numerous community and charitable boards and councils. He is a founder and original director of the Nevada Patriot Fund and is a past Director of Valley Bank of Nevada and Bank of America ,Nevada.
Perry and his wife of 40 years, Patricia, met while both were at Ohio
State
University, where Patty graduated as Dental Hygienist, have three adult
daughters Teresa( Long ), Andrea (Colgan )and Dr. Christina Di Loreto.

Kirk V. Clausen

Kirk V. Clausen is the Regional Vice President of Wells Fargo and is responsible for the more than 110 Wells Fargo banking stores in the state of Nevada.
Clausen began his career in 1975 at Norwest Bank (now Wells Fargo & Company) in Sioux City, Iowa serving in many positions including loan officer and retail bank manager. Later, after working with Norwest Investment Services, Inc., Clausen was named vice president of Norwest Bank Wisconsin and eventually was named executive vice president and northern Nevada regional manager in 1999.
He serves on a variety of community boards including serving as Board Member of: the Clark County Public Education Foundation; Desert Research Institute; Henderson Chamber of Commerce; Three Square Board of Trustees; UNLV Student Life Advisory Board; and the University of Nevada Reno Foundation. He is an Honorary Board Member of the Nevada Public Education Foundation and Outgoing Chairman of United Way of Southern Nevada. In addition, he is the Past Chairman of: the Nevada Bankers Association, Nevada Works, and the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada (EDAWN).
Clausen is a graduate of Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa, with a B.S. in Business Administration.

Bruce A. Rodela

Bruce A. Rodela is the President/CEO of Frontier Financial Credit Union, formerly Washoe Credit Union, located in Reno. Prior to joining Frontier Financial Credit Union in 1988, he held the position of General Manager of SONEPCO Federal Credit Union from 1979 to 1988, located in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mr. Rodela began his credit union career in 1976.
Mr. Rodela currently serves as a board member of the Nevada Credit Union League. He served twice as Chairman for the league from 1992 to 1996 and 2004 to 2006.
Mr. Rodela served as a member on the Board of Directors of The CO-OP Financial Services from 1990 through 2001. He served on the Board of Directors for the Reno based Silver Sage Manor, Inc. specializing in the development of affordable senior housing throughout Nevada. Mr. Rodela currently serves on the advisory council for American Share Insurance.
Mr. Rodela holds a B.S. Degree in Financial Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and is a 1985 graduate of the Credit Union National Association Management School, Claremont, California.
Bruce has three sons, Brett, Casey and Tristan and has been married to Lisa for 31 years. Bruce enjoys observing and routing for his sons in all types of sports. Bruce loves the sport of baseball and bleeds Dodger Blue, hunts, enjoys World War II and civil war history and enjoys fitness and weight lifting.

Giles E. Vanderhoof

Major General (Retired) Giles E. Vanderhoof is a lifelong Nevadan, growing up and attending grade schools in Sparks, Nev. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Arts from Regents College, University of New York and completed the U.S. Air Force Air Command and Staff College Course, and Air War College Course.
General Vanderhoof retired from the military, after serving for 46 years in the Nevada Air National Guard. The last position he held in the Guard was Major General, as the Adjutant General of Nevada, commanding the Army and Air Guard members and units within Nevada.
Immediately following his military retirement, Governor Guinn appointed him Nevada’s Homeland Security Administrator, a position he held until January 2007. He was a member of the Nevada Homeland Security Commission and the Nevada Committee for the Statewide Emergency Alert System.
General Vanderhoof retired in January 2007 and is currently serving in a voluntary capacity as the Executive Director of the Nevada National Guard Association.
